Job Description

Ensure all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations by promoting a safe working environment, conducting inspections, and enforcing HSE standards across project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine site safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Deliver toolbox talks and safety inductions.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices.
  • Prepare HSE reports and maintain safety records.

Requirements

  • Diploma, HND, or BSc in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Professional HSE certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience on construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Ghanaian HSE regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Sunyani or already be a resident.
